We cordially invite you to our joint exhibition "Meet the Human" at De Verbeelding, a vibrant hub for art and culture in Zeewolde.

With great enthusiasm, I taught within a project where children of all age groups received art lessons at primary school. For me, it is very important that art is an integral part of education.

I am incredibly grateful and proud of this award. Proud of my wonderful model. Without her, the image would not have had the same impact. Her presence and spontaneity have definitely elevated my work to a higher level.

In the municipality of Zeewolde, there is a lot of Land Art to be found, making art more accessible to people. This is precisely why I appreciate the initiative "Art in the Shop Window" so much. By making art more approachable, more people can enjoy it and be inspired by it. It also makes art more inclusive, as it appeals to people from different backgrounds and with diverse interests. Moreover, a low-threshold approach to art stimulates creativity and self-expression in people who might not otherwise come into contact with artistic expressions.

In 2018, I graduated from the Nederlandse Academie voor Beeldcreatie in Amsterdam, where I completed my studies in Photographic Design. During my education, my curiosity was sparked to work with various media and sometimes even deviate completely from photography.

In November 2017, I received a surprising phone call: a piece from my series 'Ophelia' had been nominated for the Kunst.nl Awards (now Art Awards). It was an honor to hear that my work was being recognized and would be part of this prestigious occasion. During the awards night, held in the atmospheric chapel of the Amsterdam Hotel Arena, my work hung side by side with the beautiful pieces of other nominated artists.
